finally managed to struggle thru my night shifts AGAIN~
another round coming up.. =(
anyway.. life can nvr get better when we are so pampered. alrite, the 1st nite.. i haf got my stack of HL egg mayo sandwiches which is the fuel that kept me running the whole nite... and wat's more... my partner was Lisa.. she has got this bf... that is too good to be true!!! he'll stay up till very late.. and drive down to Geylang to get her supper.. and deliver it to us.. so me n other colleague tan dio~ muahaha.. he bought Fried prawn noodle on the 1st nite.. i ate my sandwich and followed by the prawn noodle... simply shiokalicious...
so on the 2nd nite.. 3am, he bought geylang famous beef hor fun!! and papaya desserts from bugis! charlyn n Lisa had papaya milk, very good for enhancing boobs. and i had papaya with white fungus.. which ppl believes to be very good for complexion.. hmmm... i wonder if it's true... anyway... we juz felt so xin fu... heh...

when i board the train heading towards boon lay today.. my heavy legs made my body look around for seat. haha..
Ahh~ found one.. hey but a lil girl on the next seat was putting her hand on it....
Hey~ a lady beside her.. i think that's her mum.. heh..
oh~ i walked over n smiled to that lil girl so she'll move her hand away and let me sit.
yay~ she moved away.. i sat down. hee..
den as usual.. my curious eyes scan thru the train cabin(as far as my eyes could reach, of coz)... looking at wat's going on n such.. u know~ the usual daydream.. den i felt something touching me at the side.. i turned n saw the lil girl smiling to me. haha.. so sweet.. i think she's pretty.. about 5 yrs old.. long curly eye lashes, tied up wavy pony tail.. big eyes.. heh.. den time n time again she tries to get my attention and smiled to me.. after 5mins.. she started to show me her doll.. den she play wif it.. around me.. i was so paiseh... so i keep staring at the lady beside her who i thot is her mum.. but the lady juz kinda ignored me and also didnt really care about her.. den i go..
hey~ something is not rite.. is the girl lost or something?
den i got an SMS... when i was reading.. lil girl moved closer to me.. and she was reading the SMS too.. she was almost lying on my arm le.. haha.. well nvm.. tired me ignored her after some time.. den.. i felt asleep.....................................zzzz..
after 15mins.. i felt someone lying on my arm.. hey! she's asleep too.. lying on me! ok i felt it was sweet.. and we look like sisters.. but.. WHY?! where's her parents????? i start to panic a lil but remained calm.. when i was going to alight.. some guy from the opposite took her n alight.. i was like phew~~.. haha.. wat a funny train journey..

heh.. today it's my first time dyeing hair for someone.. yeah it went quite well.. i m happy wif the good job done.. gives me a sense of satisfaction. muahaha..

when i was on the cab heading home from clementi.. the taxi driver was drivin at 110KM/Hr! i almost went mad.. i juz cant stand ppl who drive so fast! wat's more! it was raining heavily!!!!! crazy... thrilling ride home.. i m slippee..

POWER OF PEE RUNS A BATTERY

Scientists have developed a way to turn pee into electricity. And there's plenty where that came from, they point out. Cheap, disposable, and renewable, urine-powered batteries may be the perfect power source for disposable healthcare test kits called biochips, the researchers say.

To make the battery, Lee and his team soaked a piece of paper in copper chloride and then sandwiched it between strips of magnesium and copper. Then they laminated the credit card-sized unit between transparent plastic films. When a drop of urine is added to the copper chloride paper, a chemical reaction takes place and produces electricity, which is harnessed by the battery. A few drops will generate about 1.5 volts, the same as a AA battery. The battery needs to be developed further to make it commercially viable.

Lee and his team also found that they could alter the battery's performance – voltage, power, or duration – by adjusting the design or materials.

The chemical composition of urine indicates a person's general health and is widely used in diagnostic tests. For instance, doctors measure the concentration of the sugar glucose to determine whether someone is diabetic.

*shivers* wat a cold day~
was suppose to be a happy off day for me.. when i left the house it started pouring heavily.. T.T took extra long to reach town becoz i had to detour here n there... and was caught in the rain! and by the time i reached far east.. i was WET! brrr... cold.. spent good 3 hrs in far east den i finally step out into the open...& head towards PS.. as i walk.. it started raining again!!! no choice juz ran into some busstop to take a bus. and being a bus idiot (esp in town area).. i had no idea wat bus can take me to PS. so i decided to juz try my luck. juz board any bus that comes.. lucky i managed to reach PS safe n sound.. but still abit wet. haha.. phew.. i think i m getting old.. cant remember bus numbers.. i only know 156 n 88.. haha..

wanted to haf waffles today since it's half price.. =X but in the end we didnt.. sob..
but we watched a movie! finally..!
it's been a long time since we caught a movie.. been so busy!! and also not much good movies lately.. last movie was about 2 mths ago leh.. we watched 40-yr old virgin.. heh.. not bad.. was quite funny.. i had a good laugh.. muahahaha!
but there are some good movies coming up! i m waiting for Harry Potter and HL is waiting for the Adventures of Narnia.. long wait..

and i haf got my tix to David Tao's concert!! yay!! it's on 26 Nov.. yippie!but the bad thing is.. i still dunno wat's my schedule yet.. so i really hope i can make it on that night.. it's a risk i m taking.. anyway.. by hook or by crook i haf to get to the indoor stadium that night! haha! excited!!

it has been a long time since i had girl talk.. muahaha.. went hang out wif my colleagues today.. went ben&jerry's ice cream shop! 4 girls ordered 9scoops of ice cream!we kept asking them to give us bigger scoops. muahaha.. like small little kid.. =X after ice cream we went Pasta mania to haf decent food.. had pizza.. pasta.. fatty food!! cannot!!!!!!!!!!!! =X haha... shag..

today i received my very 1st wedding invitation from a colleague.. haha.. having a kinda weird feeling about it. =X perhaps coz it's the 1st time.. heh.. anyway so happy for her.. going to get married! woohoo.. when is it gonna be my turn?!?! =X.. haha..

party party~! our uniform party was a great success! everything went well n smoothly and we had alot of fun!!

met around 4pm to get food for the steamboat.. brought the stuffs over to Jw's place, prepare the food and we await the arrival of yilin..
we got ourselves changed into our uniforms.. the girls got their own uniform.. but the guys dun haf theirs.. so yh borrowed tpjc and srjc uniform for them.... haha. =X and den it's the photo taking session.. haha.. very funny~ esp the guys.. all bengs and nerds.. WAHAHAH~~ brought back many old school memories.. heee...
next up, steamboat!! muahaha.. yummy marinated meat, mushrooms, seaweed chicken and alot more.. i love food! =P
by the time we clean everything up it's 2am le.. den alvin practise Tong Hua on the piano the whole nite.. until 4am.. zzz.. not bad eh.. at least he learnt something that nite... and i slept around 3am.. shag.. hehe..

~ FEASTING DAY!! ~

muahaha.. it all started in the morning.. mummy bot me a pizza bread.. looks messy but taste quite nice.. i took a big piece n ate it on my way to work...

during lunch.. me n colleagues went to Magic Wok!! woo.. thai food! i haf my fav thai fried beef kuay teow, sambal kangkong and tom yam soupie!! slurp.. i sure deserve some good food after suffering so much n doing OT for three days.. heh.. i m good at pampering myself..

after work.. i went str8 down to HL's place for his mummy bday celebration!! we had STEAMBOAT!! and the bbq thingy combined la.. u should know wat i mean. heh.. there was so much food!! as usual we didnt finish everything... hl marinated the chicken n pork... taste good eh.. heh.. the prawn that his mummy marinated also shiokz! been craving for steamboat since months ago.. =)
oh ya.. and hl also ordered pizza!! woohoo!! my fav too.. everyone was so full that most of us didnt touch the pizza so the generous HL gave me two pieces of BBQ chicken supreme pizza and whole of a garlic bread for my breakfast tmr!! cant wait to wake up tmr.. haha..
den we rest for awhile.. clean up the place.. den is the sing-song-cut-cake time! HL got a fruit cake.. mixture of lemon cake, kiwi, peach, strawberries and white chocolate! his mummy looks very happy.. heh..

so that's how i got my big tummy now.. so full!!

gonna haf a crazy uniform party tmr at jw's place.. hope it'll be fun.. and guess wat? i m gonna haf a STEAMBOAT AGAIN!! muahaha how exciting can it get? two steamboats on two consecutive days.. heh..

after the crazy party i need to return to work.. night shifts coming up.. no time for HL again..
