finally caught Spiderwick in the cinemas!
it's one movie that has always been on top of my movie picks.
well well, abit funny here n there. exciting here n there too.. pity the person sitting beside me haa! poor nigel. =P
overall, it's good!

many ppl said it wont be good... initially was afraid that the group might not like it too, coz they said it wont be good.. coz the trailer just looks like a copy of Narnia. which totally sucks.
in the end, we all walked out of the cinema saying good! hehe.. picked the right movie. very happy =) i m glad everyone enjoyed it too!

and i love my new specs. blueeeee.... nice?

have you watched it?
i wouldnt say it's fantastica.. but i find it really simple, sweet and to a certain extent abit unrealistic.
sets me thinking....

Li-Ann (starred by Li-Lin) has always believed in true love since young and she lives to only meet the One. one day.. she finally did.. many issues came along and Jeremy cant stay by her side.. thus they made a promise to meet every 4yrs on the leap day: Feb 29. so for every 4yrs they met, had misunderstanding along the way, Li-Ann even though of giving it all up n accept the other guy's proposal only on the 4th leap yr. every misunderstanding and doubts were cleared and they finally got together....
yes it's sounding abit unrealistic..

but i totally understand how Li-Ann feels.. how she managed to resist being with someone..
in the story they said some ppl just get tgt with someone for the sake of having company as they are afraid of loneliness... which i guess it's very true.. who will wait n wait just for Mr Right? she met Jeremy and the connection they had was almost magical which kept them keeping the promise..

you might say it's a silly thing if we just sit here in the reality waiting just for the Right One eh?
but i can tell you it's not really silly..

when you've had met the right person b4 and due to some reason he had slipped off your hand.. you feel so so so pain. many questions came up to your mind.. and you keep wanting to forget him.. you think making urself busy would help.. you wonder if he'll ever come back to you.. you use so much effort just wanting to move on and have a new life..
it's been so long.. it's almost time (said, most of you)...
but the memories we shared were so special.. the bond we had. the love we used to swear..
it only belongs to you and I.
the things we have done together? the places we've been to? i just refuse to repeat them again with someone else. i just wan to keep it special, OUR special..
you're irreplaceable.

wat i m trying to say is.. if you've missed the Right one, it's going to take alot alot of courage for you (or you will probably never will) to feel the same way with anyone else....
you can push others away.. and keep on waiting and finally be happily-ever-after, but..

in reality: you MIGHT never find it, again..

let's see.. this week has been very packed n sian n busy..

nevertheless i've had happy food!!!
lots!!

Monday...... (i forgot wat..)
Tuesday.... got seminar ar.. so i got eat all the cheese, wine n others.. hehe.. good food!
Wednesday... pizza at Sunset Way (3rd visit!) woo.. yummy.. and the ambience rox.. had a great time =)
Thursday........ salad and toast. this toast is special! i ate it with this special sauce my aunty made. as usual, it was GOOD!!! some pasta sauce mixed with something else. yummy yummy.... bread just got nicer!

Friday.. we went to had shabu shabu during lunch!! that was a mad idea suggested by Roger.
It was Zhimei's last day today.. so we just decided to gather for a simple lunch at Jack's place. in the end..................

yup we ended up at this shabu shabu rest at The Village Centre. never knew this small shopping mall existed.. they even have a special japanese fish mart cum supermarket..


sake... cute right??

shhh.. dont tell boss i drink during lunch. *burp*

more!! hehe..

shabu isnt fantastic. but i ate alot.. like the last one standing to clear table while the rest watch me.. hehe..

After that we had cheesecake on the next door to this jap rest. it was great!! ran by a middle-aged man (only!), he bakes his own cookies and cakes! the cheesecakes has many flavors: strawberry, blueberry, mango, soursop, peanut butter! really nice..

that's not all!! den we had coffee on the next door again. simple homely cafe. smellssssssssss of coffee. sniff..................
dont ask me how long my lunch was.. i know u're going to tell my boss. =P


went to school.. Derek bought me a cheesecake from starbucks too...
overdosed of cheeeeeeeeesecake.

btw.. remember those times we had to copy notes like hell?
now we just take pictures of all the answers on the ppt!!!! save time. save energy!!
i thot that was quite innovative. haa.... =)

ok time to sleep.
weekend is here. i've got lessons
but i aint going.
i'm in the state whereby going lessons wont help anymore.
i will probably just feel lost all the time.
sigh..i guess self study at the library makes more sense.

i want to watch The Leap Years!!
